i've gotten super lazy about posting...i didn't even post about my trip...

my trip was amazing and i'll do it all over again!!!
i did feel like i didn't buy enough...

to sum it up...
Hong Kong = food
Japan = sightseeing
Korea = shopping

to be honest, all these places are good for all those things but for me......it feels like that's how it is...for the most part.

omgoodness, i completely didn't blog in the month of august. nothing really exciting actually. i did go to niagara falls in early sept and had a blast with some girlfriends. spent some time with
some close friends as well.

lotsa happenings in July...i think it was busier than the months before.

some highlights...(July
ROM to see the terracotta armywent on a friday after 0430...super busy...it is $19 to see the special exhibition (terracotta army) and the entire museum. i think it was INTERESTING! especially one display of artifacts...those who know what i'm talking about...*wink wink...(btw, i still don't understand... oh hotaru, if we weren't so tired that night, i would keep discussing about it...although i think it would go nowhere LOL.)some random display of the world largest flower? not sure...i think i took a pic of the description but now i'm not so sure if it belongs to this flower...but anyways it reminds me of Super Mario eating flowers things!
off to the night market up at Markham!

Food stand #1 Doggie Style...gotta put food in the stomach STAT! this is the one hotaru got...mine is the Seoul Dog...it has kimchi on it..!

Food Stand #2 "Street Noodles" (translated to something like that) it was DELICIOUS! it has become one of my favourite things now. well i can't read this sign...i had help ordering!

Food Stand #3 OYSTERS, it was the highlight and reason to go to the nightmarket...but a little disappointment...a few of my oysters had sand in it BOO! but nonetheless, it was good...maybe i didn't need the whole box to myself...but i did anyways!

Food Stand #4 Last stop for the night...hotaru and i were exhausted! this took forever! thanks to hotaru's brother and his gf...we had some! tried the original flavour and coffee...did we try the peanut flavour? no right? but the original flavour is better...more tasty...
and it's not a big difference between the charcoal version and the traditional way of making it at Pacific mall...the wait wasn't worth it.

Scrapbook for my first trip overseas!some clothing items...
got these pants in BLACK...they fit! i'm so happy and they actually look decent...but i don't have those sandals to go with it...i wanted this look! SAD!

this jumpsuit...at first i wasn't sure if i like it but now i kinda accepted it. i'm a little stubby looking in it cuz i'm not tall and skinny. but i guess it's cute. i'm going to try wearing it. the actual color is a bit darker than in the picture...it is more yellow-ythat's it for now...i hope there will be more news from me!
aside from Gmarket...i bought two pairs of jean shorts from bluenotes (one being 12.00 and the other is 14.50 *pretty good deal) and a pink/coral color TNA hoodie (i think my 6th one) for 55.00 *definitely a good deal, if i didn't get it, i would've died.

ok. so i am blogging about my Gmarket haul. i am VERY disappointed this time...
the sandals i was looking forward to getting...the seller gave me the wrong pair of shoes! the thing is that i totally dislike the ones they gave me. so everything failed. i really wanted a pair of sandals and i spent a lot of time looking for them on Gmarket and in the end, i didn't get it =( x100000
i wanted to wear them this weekend too~UGH. just NOTHING worked out the way i wanted to
these were the ones i originally wanted...the ones i got were totally different, i didn't even bother taking a pic of them.

RIP sandals...you'll never become mine...anyways...this was the box. HUGE

there will be another gmarket update...skip all the other ones i said i'll update in the past. i'll never get around to it again. this gmarket haul is June/July 2010!

the weather is total crapppppppp. weekend ruined...not that i had plans, i did want to get my haircut but my friend told me the wait for her...so i guess i can endure my bad hair days a little longer. i did go downtown yesterday (when it stopped raining) to purchase some ingredients for making sushi rolls...since Hotaru mentioned she was making them this weekend too.

so my plan is to start to eat less...i have exactly 6 months to lose some weight...my first goal is 5lbs. (i do wanna lose another 5lbs (total 10lbs) but let's work with 5lbs first)
i would say my so-called diet is just eating lighter and less...it's not much of a change.
this was my creation last night:before it was cut...
and after:my side dish: edamame!

so all that to the side...wanted to share a bit of my haul when i went to Buffalo with my sis-in-law, her sister (my age) and two of her other friends.

My Day Trip haul: We went to the Outlet there (which i wasn't too impressed but i did get my converse there) and Walden Galleria (where i got most of my haul from)~

black uggs: these are $235CAD here...i got them for $160US (CAD and USD are pretty much on par) had to wear them back...just in case of customs...so no box for these babies.

Converse from the Converse store! in purple...a seasonal color apparently...i hope i'll wear them...!

Jeans from Delia's (teenager store...but heck...i wanted to buy more (tshirts) but i already spent way too much time in this store trying on jeans while everyone waited for me...

the style is Morgan in the NYC (left) and Boston (right) wash. They fit quite nicely...for the fact that my calves are HUGE...so i think it helps straighten my legs a little bit. (just a little).

ok. i promised to blog...it's been too long. but life has been somewhat busy and i've been lazy...i'm being totally honest. i had the last 3 days off...cuz i did 12hr shifts over the weekend and it was hell. thank god i worked with a friend/coworker which made life a little better.

so on to my gmarket...like i promised! i did a little more gmarketing after this one...

ok. let's start!

one of my favourite items in this order. this navy handbag. it's very good quality! the lining inside is very nice...i did pay a bit more for this bag...$30-35US but it's all worth it and it is quite large in size.

armwarmers...these ones are like the one GoMiNam wore in the kdrama "You're Beautiful"

the same one as the red one i got previously in purple. LOVE IT. but i think i still like my red one better

Etude House eyeliner...i'm quite disappointed...it's quite very light black when put on...i guess if you're going for a lighter makeup look...

PK008 pink...pretty...it reminded me of the lip colors worn by Eugene from kdrama: Creating Destiny...so i got this color.

haven't tried this yet...maybe i'll get back to it.

ok. this mascara, i tried and i love it. it makes my lashes appear very thick and long...it's a very good price and i think it's a good alternative to the high def Lancome one i use...

second day using this body wash. LOVE it. makes my skin sooooooo smooth after. looking forward to using the lotions after i'm done my lotion...these Happy Bath lotions are recommended by Lotuspalace.

will get back to these...haven't used them yet...

Jacket i got in Khaki...love it as well. this one is actually one of nicer jackets i got from gmarket...the other ones i got...they're nice but either too big or lose a lot of fur.

Random Rant

so...i'm on my night shift at work so i thought i drop by and saying something...my random rant.

i've ordered a few things off ebay and they haven't gotten around to coming yet! i also ordered a bra from aerie by american eagle...and it's nowhere in sight. i've yet to pick my gmarket haul from Hotaru...(thanks to work...this 8 day stretch is longer than i thought).

looking forward to resting and going out watching a movie and dinner with Hotaru and maybe one or two gathering with friends. really wanna see my nephew and niece. my nephew probably forgot who i am...maybe i can bribe him with ice cream and he'll remember...maybe...

i really need some "me" time. i need to take care of myself (ie. my skin) after these horrid night shifts. this is my 6th one. one more to go! then i'm doing one more evening shift and get two days of rest! gotta do a lot of masks and scrubs and everything to save myself...at least look more human again.

so today (well yesterday) i finished watching Creating Destiny...i actually smiled at the end of the drama. usually i feel sad when a drama is over even if it's a happy ending. but to me, this drama ended at ep23 and whatever came later was just more "drama"

i was happy with the ending. one situation did make me cry but i know it was for the best of the situation. i love this drama. it was so full of fun and cuteness.

i'm a little skeptical on the drama though. the respect they show for the elderly in the family may seem too overexaggerate? or maybe i'm in the western culture and it's WAY different. yes we respect the old people in our family but the whole permission to do this and that...maybe carrying it too far...at least for present day. nonetheless it was such a good drama. in the back of my mind i wish our culture was somewhat like that...so i can get a little more respect for being older...at least something good comes out of being older.

but in family outing...they emphasize respect for the elderly as well. i guess it's big in Korean culture which is nice.

Tonymoly's Pore Clear Cream

i wanted to blog about this last time...i won't say i'm doing a review on this product...but i just want to share that i'm loving it and what i love about it.

and that is...PORE CLEAR CREAM by Tonymoly!

i love it to bits...
before i got this cream...i had lotsa problems with clogged pores on my cheeks...whether it was makeup residue or just acne...i couldn't get rid of it. i normally do a double cleansing using Laneige multicleanser and Erkena's Pore tightening foam cleanser but still i have clogged pores...

after using this cream...my skin has been clear...and doing a lot better from scars.

This is what the cream looks like...

it's water-based-like and it spreads really nicely. it's very light on the skin.

you can purchase it on Gmarket for a mere 8000 won (about 7US dollars) for 50ml...not bad for such a good cream! i bought another one recently along with the essence from this line...

I want to wish everyone a Happy 2010! (I know it's a little late...but I hope everyone enjoyed the opening of the new year!)

so some of the things that ended 2009 and started my 2010...

Another thing i got...from my cousin who went to the U.S for a trip...i randomly asked him to get me sweats from Victoria's Secret...(i've been wanting these for awhile...seeing Hyori wear "PINK" in Family Outing...haha) but i thought since my cousin is a 17 year old teenager...he wouldn't go to Victoria's Secret to buy me pink sweats...but he did! i'm so loved. he wanted to pay for them too...but of course i wouldn't let him! i'm already grateful enough that he got them for me, but i'm sure my aunt was there at the store to ease the awkwardness! haha

here they are!they're super cute...just one thing...it's not the sweats...it's me. i think it would look a lot better if i lost some weight. legs are way too chubby~!

So another hot topic this year from people around me:

...maybe cuz it's the new year...everyone around me is trying to lose weight and are losing weight! reasons vary from wanting to look good, spare time to go exercise, working to health reasons.

for me...i've been "trying" but certainly not very hard. haha. although my chips eating has subsided because of indigestion after eating chips. i'm trying to eat healthier and not indulging in junk food as much because i've been suffering from indigestion...

but i'm not giving up on eating or anything like that. i'm happy that i can indulge on so many good foods and stay the size i am now!

i'm 160cm and 115lbs...i'm not overweight, just got some meat...chubbiness...if i'm losing weight...it's just entirely cuz i wanna look skinnier, for looks. the only thing that i really don't like...are my legs but you are what you are.

On to 2010 resolutions:

i'm not making any resolutions this year...i want to do things that are right as i live my life at that moment...we'll see how that goes! but this year...i'll get things done.

as for 2009 (thinking back), i've graduated from school, got a job...that's an accomplishment. it wasn't a resolution...it's just something i want to get done and i did it! so i decided that i don't need any resolutions to make something happen. it will happen when the time comes!

so i promised to hotaru that i'll blog once i get my hands on the sorels boots that i need for the winter.

i spent this weekend at my brother's place since it was my niece one month old celebration...although we didn't have a big banquet or anything. we had a really nice family dinner. nonetheless, i had a very lazy weekend that consist of going to walmart, T&T and Grant's supermarket for random things and ice cream.

here are some of the things i bought since i last blogged...and of course more to come but that's for the next blog. (Xmas is in 5 days...i'm working...so not exactly celebrating...but it's the most festive season of the year!)

here are the Randy flats i got from Coach...they were marked incorrectly for 99 dollars...so i got them for that price!

so the other day...my computer was attacked by viruses...so i thought better to be safe than sorry...i got myself this portable mini harddrive...it's super cute!

and here they are! i finally got my hands on these. i ordered them through the BROWNS/B2 website cuz every store i've been to were out of sizes. they arrived on friday when i was at my brother's...they'll be good for the cold bitter winter...now i dont have to worry about getting my shoes wet...cuz usually i wear uggs and those stress me out every winter cuz they get ruined.

ok. so i've had two orders in the past month and a half...or so.

this one i am going to post about came in a gynormous box, i didn't expect it to be this big either...
it was an order combine with stuff for myself, hotaru and another friend of ours. there wasn't many items but i guess they were just big...

i don't have pictures of them taken by my camera since i lent my camera to a friend at that point. so images are taken from Gmarket...

my red beanie! i love this beanie to bits...more than the other ones i bought from Gmarket...reason why is that this one seem to hold onto my head a bit more than the other ones.

boots...i love these~ i've gotten really cute fake uggs from this seller...too bad they don't ship internationally anymore...they're really comfy and light weight.

my brown cardigan...it looks pretty much like the wilfred one i was eyeing at Aritzia. just a whole lot cheaper.my jacket in black...i was hoping something a little thinner but this is nice too...good for the fall weather. nice quality for its price! i guess i'll get a thinner one when spring rolls around...!

SNP spot cream! it came with a lot of samples and cotton and a little scrub thing. this spot cream is some good stuff. it makes my pimples shrink the next day! it was a good deal...i got two of everything for less than 20US...compare to buying it here...it's 25CAD for just the tube. gave the other set of stuff to hotaru...i hope she makes good use of it. although she doesn't even have pimples!
this anticipated item! (inspired by Go Mi Nam in You're Beautiful) circular scarf. i didn't get it in grey tho. mine is this purple-ish lavender color. it's like grey and purple combined...something like that. and i absolutely love it. it's soft and thick enough to keep me warm and most importantly it's not heavy. LOVE IT. BUY ONE! i am going to get more...i just need to restrain myself from gmarketing for December. can't afford it...at the moment.
my reversible vest! love this item too! although it's hard for me to wear vests cuz i always think it's not warm enough but i love this! i will wear it more often...but now that it's cold...hmmmm. i wore it once tho! and another reason for my red beanie. keke. <3
Etude house lip tint! love this item too. i got the orange (2nd from the left) and the pink (last from the left) i haven't tried the orange yet but the pink makes my lips a little lighter which i like cuz i find my lips are a bit too red. i find that you have to use a lip concealer to really bring out the color. that's my opinion anyways. you can't see it if you just put it on your lip.
the gloss for the pink one is very sparkly. it's very cute. i'll update on the orange one next time.

so only eight items. i wish i got more. but for some reason this order was more satisfying than the last.

i know i will make another order soon...(as soon as i recover from this one) and my Xmas shopping. haha.

it's been awhile...

it's been awhile...goodness...I don't know if i should say I've been busy or lazy but anyways...I've been working a lot and during my days off, I've been catching up with friends and family.

anyways...there's been purchases in the last two weeks or so...there's quite a few images so I will probably make a separate post for it.

let's just start out with some old stuff.
This is my winter jacket for the next few years (although doesn't mean I won't buy more jackets keke)
The Community brand jacket from Aritzia which I already see a million other girls wear it. but heck, I owned a TNA jacket...which even more girls have. I really like this jacket and the fur on the hood attracted me...i dont know why.

This is actually my latest purchase...PJ pants from Bluenotes, it was their buy one get one free! so i just had to buy them! i love the quilted pattern ones....i've been eyeing them for awhile, just didn't buy them til there was a deal. In fact, i am wearing them now!

Underwear from Aeries, the forest green one is just adorable with the little frills! and the other stars one just reminds me of the kdrama "you're beautiful". Now i can associate stars with that drama. TOO CUTE!

Dinner I had with Hotaru the other day...at Sunrise Restaurant at downtown Ktown...it is a new restaurant (newly owned, i suppose) and we decided to give it a try...

the appetitzers! it was yummy! jap-chae, spicy cucumber, bean sprouts, seaweed, kimchi, and potatoes.

my dish: kimchi fried rice with beef in a stone pot. it was good except it was too hot (temperature-wise) took me forever to eat it.

the seafood pancake with rice cake. this was okay...maybe i would've prefered if it had more kimchi...did it have kimchi at all? maybe i'll try the kimchi one next time...
Lastly, hotaru's dish: Kimchi stew with pork and dumplings. i think this was probably the best out of everything we ordered (i loved the appetitzers too). the stew is very tasty.

In conclusion, would I go back to this restaurant? YES! next time, i'll get the stew for myself and my hair and clothes didn't smell after...which is GREAT! it's a very cute restaurant!

on a side note: one thing about table-cooking restaurants is that my clothes and hair will smell after...and i dont like that...Sunrise restaurant isn't a table cooking restaurant like Seoul Restaurant...i dont think...

maybe it'll be our new place to go to...at least we'll have another option! keke.

i hope it does what it says it does!
i also picked up some armwarmers from Ardene's...3 for $10 dollars! good deal! (inspired by kdrama: You're Beautiful. My latest obssession!)

and my navy blue TNA hoodie! what i've been waiting for!!! except this one is a little lighter than the navy i originally wanted...but good enough!

sorry no pics cuz i lent my camera to my friend...

the Xmas shopping: i picked up some clothes from Children's Place for joshy and joely, sweats from Old Navy for Dad and my uncle...which they liked! Thank God!

on a side note: tried the Tonymoly Triple Expert BB cream. kinda like it...damn these sample tactics work!

I wanted to make a separate post for this just because it is my last day being 23.

I celebrated with Hotaru...we went to Yorkdale Mall

Watched "Where the Wild Things Are" the movie....was okaaaaay. There wasn't a plot so i don't even know what to say about it.

We went to Holt Renfrew to check out the Tsumori Chisato x Shu Uemura limited edition makeup pouch but it wasn't on sale! you have to buy $165 dollars worth of products at the counter. BOOO!

Then we went for dinner! at Sorabol Sushi...one of my favourite places. too bad they didn't have black bean noodles!

I got my results on the 16th of October...it's happy news! Some of us went to Congee Wong that night to celebrate and then Destiny for drinks after. We were all so relieved!

so there were some things I needed to get cuz now I'm officially full-time.

soooo...the next day (October 17) some of us girls decided to go to Fairview Mall to shop for some clothes for convocation...it was an absolute failure. In the end, we came out empty handed...I bought shoes for convocation but today (which was convocation day: October 24) I decided to not wear them and return them...so I'm not going to bother posting a picture of those shoes.

Dinner we had that night at Gal Sushi!

Dessert...Deep fried milk custard! My love...and it makes me happy whenever I eat it. The place is somewhere at FMP...

The next day (October 18) I went shopping with my mom...since it was such a failure yesterday...

Shoes I got for work...they're totally not my type of shoes but if you're on your feet all day and sprinting to get your job done...these will have to do. I bought them from SportsChek...for buy 1 get 2nd 50% off...

My mavi jeans! i absolutely love these and they're on sale too...the once in a blue moon sale at Jean Machine. it was 25% off. i was going to get another pair but the guy at the cash made me mad...so i just picked up one pair.

Dinner with Hotaru (October 21) at Seoul restaurant at Ktown...and I got a haircut at Maya...it was a little shorter than what I intended to get...but it'll grow back...slowly.

October 22: Pickle Barrel after a tough day at work...we went there, ate and vented about work and everything else...jumbo club sandwich for me and we shared the 6 sampler dessert...delicious!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

I am thankful for everything up to now...although I may not show it, I am thankful for every minute and everyone around me.

Last night, went to Ray's house for a friends get together! Fun fun fun! aka. Our Thanksgiving dinner!

Ray and Janis made food...it was great!
main course: chicken leg, carrots + potato on the side...plus lasagna which i don't have a pic...
veggies! janis got them at her school? it's organic! the squash is super yummy!
janis' cranberry sauce from scratch! so good with the chicken + veggies!

There was also crepes at the end...made by the cooking crew...with strawberries, bananas, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and cookies n' cream ice cream. pic will be up as soon as i can connect my other memory card to the computer...

it was a very fun night playing UNO and of course watching scary movies, it never fails...we watched the Grudge: Kuroi Shoujo...(then i found there's another Grudge movie Shiroi Roujo) well, we watched it in simplied chinese subtitles...which most of us can't read...(movie in japanese) and it was lagging at all the scary parts...very funny! (the movie didn't make any sense in the end to us...not that those movies make a lot of sense in the first place...)
then we watched APT, a korean scary movie...scarrrrrry. 9:56pm will forever have a new meaning.

Friday (that just passed...) went to Demetres with tw, jp, xl, and karen. my treat since i got paid.
i made my own...with nutello chip ice cream, bananas, caramello sauce, brownies with a waffle! so goooood. no pic tho...i should've taken one! next time...
went to FMP and picked up a Laneige set...cuz i don't like the etude house toner...i only meant to pick up toner...but since there was this set...

the basic care set...with power essential toner and waterbank essence and some little samples of pretty much the same stuff...

Day 4 - (no Day 3...)

Day 2's outing. Journey it was! (with hotaru) started out with lunch at Rahier cafe/bakery place. sandwich was so delicious! the bread is definitely really yummy which made the sandwich really good. the cake we got for dessert...Gauguin(?) i think it's called something like that. it's light and not as sweet...not artificial either. really good~~~!

then onto fairview mall...didn't get much...

i was kinda upset at Forever21's service there...bought two things on the F21 website...i wanted to know if i can exchange it at the store even though i probably wouldn't...but no one knew the answer...and when i finally asked someone...they said they probably won't do it for me "today" cuz it was too busy...it's ALWAYS busy there...so they'll never do it for me. TERRIBLE service. i wonder if the downtown location would be better...(aerie didn't have their thursday gift there either! this never happened at the eaton centre...conclusion: fairview sucks!)

the tshirt, i love very much. it has some random words printed on the front. the dress is the heritage 1981 line of theirs...it's a little thin...strapless but it's really cute...i don't know what to wear over it though...since it is strapless...i wanted to see if exchanging for something else is possible...but it seems f21's service isn't the greatest...and i do like it. i guess i'll keep it.

then to jtown...new century plaza...pacific mall...

i tried the blush...i really like it!
although i kinda wish it wasn't as shimmery...and more matte...

had some yummy sushi for dinner at Sapporo Sushi at yonge/finch...but no pics. i devoured the food before i had a chance to take pics of it...oops...next time!

Day 2 - going to go out today! so excited! it's going to be a like a mini tour around Toronto...haha...heading to fairview mall, pacific mall and sushi for dinner with hotaru!
